Publish a week. Lock PE, assessments, breaks and anything else that must not move.
Talk, type, or two taps to swap. Large Now / Next / Later cards. Illegal moves never appear.
Live board, approvals and priority help — including when a covering teacher is in.
Planned, chosen, approved, actual. Every day becomes a review pack, not a spreadsheet rebuild.
See it in action
Watch a pupil talk to change the day, AI offer only a legal swap, and the teacher board stay in sync — without losing the planned day.
Why this exists
Moves happen in corridors and email. Teachers cannot see what the pupil is actually doing. SENDCOs rebuild the story for every review. Fixed school timetables and flex-period apps were never built for a full learning day with controlled choice.
Ad-hoc swaps leave no shared picture of the day as it is being lived.
Reviews need planned vs chosen vs actual. Spreadsheets do not keep that story.
Timetables are fixed. Flex apps track a block, not a personalised learning day.
Covering teachers walk into a day they cannot see. Help requests arrive too late.
Two surfaces
Large Now / Next / Later / Done cards. Two taps to swap. Locks are obvious. “I need help” is always there. Built for phone, iPad and desktop — not a watered-down staff screen.

A live board for the day: who changed their plan, who needs help, what is waiting for approval. Planned vs current vs actual stays visible when someone is covering.

Why schools buy it
Observation, not diagnosis. Counts and exports for meetings — without rebuilding the narrative from memory.
What the school intended when the week was published.
What the pupil asked to move, and why.
What the teacher allowed under your rules.
What was started and finished on the day.

How it works
One principle runs the product: rules never offer an illegal move, and teachers keep the evidence.
Set subjects, locks, breaks and autonomy levels for each pupil or group.
Within the rules: L1 fixed, L2 rearrange, L3 choose next. Help is one tap away.
Approvals, live status and covering-teacher clarity when the day moves on.
Planned vs chosen vs approved vs actual — ready for the next review.
Positioning
SchoolAdjust is a personalised learning day with structure. It is deliberately not software that lets children change the whole timetable, not a US flex-period / WIN roster, and not an LMS.
What you get instead: choice inside school rules, a pupil experience that is easy to use under stress, and a complete evidence layer for adults.

What schools ask for
“The pupil needs a say without the day falling apart.”
Controlled choice, not free rewrite
“Covering staff must see what changed before they walk in.”
Live board for the adults in the room
“Reviews should not be a rebuild from email threads.”
Evidence that survives the day
Common questions
SchoolAdjust is software for a personalised learning day: the school sets the plan and locks, pupils rearrange inside the rules, and teachers keep a live board plus planned vs chosen vs actual evidence. It is not an LMS, not attendance software, and not a US-style flex-period roster.
Schools running personalised or SEND-friendly days where some pupils need controlled choice. SENDCOs, pastoral leads and class teachers get oversight; pupils get a clear Now / Next / Later / Done view on phone, iPad or desktop.
No. Autonomy levels, locks, breaks and change limits mean illegal moves are never offered. PE, assessments and other fixed blocks stay put. Teachers approve higher-risk changes when your policy says so.
Every day records planned, chosen, approved and actual. Reviews stop being a rebuild from memory and email. Export counts and CSV/PDF when you need a pack for a meeting.
